Collective Worship
St Peter’s Collegiate Academy: A Worshipping Community
At St Peter's, we believe that nurturing faith, character and community is at the heart of school life. Through regular reflection, shared values and social action, we empower students to connect their personal experiences with meaningful purpose in the world.
Assemblies and Collective Worship
Students regularly come together for collective worship during school assemblies. These gatherings offer a space to reflect on faith and to encounter inspiring individuals and groups who live out our key Christian values in action.
Spiritual Development
Form time provides dedicated opportunities for spiritual growth. Students explore biblical texts in relation to their daily lives, considering how timeless wisdom applies to their modern experiences.
Daily Prayer
Prayer is an integral part of our daily routine. It is collective yet fully invitational, allowing all students to participate in a way that feels comfortable and meaningful to them.
Multi-faith Celebrations
We celebrate the rich diversity of our school community. Throughout the year, students have opportunities during key events to learn about, respect and engage with the various faith traditions represented among their peers.
Social Action and Community Impact
Form time is strongly social action driven, turning reflection into real-world impact. Students are challenged to take the insights gained from worship and put them into practice through local initiatives, such as St Peter's Pantry, our annual Lenten food drive supporting Di's Kitchen to help feed hundreds of people in our local community.
