    Welcome from our Principal

We are thrilled to welcome you to St Peter’s Collegiate Academy, a Church of England Academy serving the City of Wolverhampton and proud members of Three Spires Trust.

At St Peter’s Collegiate Academy, we are committed to celebrating all individuals and enabling them to live life in all its fullness. All members of the school community are valued and enabled to develop respect, a spirit of service, aspiration, and skills that will lead them toward fulfilling lives with hope and purpose.

Rooted in our Christian values, of service, respect, and aspiration our vision is inclusive and welcomes everyone, from all backgrounds, who seek an education grounded in Christian values and beliefs, which we strive to integrate into everything we do.

Our vision reflects our desire to care for and nurture all members of our school community as they are encouraged to learn and develop knowledge, understanding and to grow in wisdom. This enables them to flourish as lifelong learners who know that they are loved by God and are equipped to serve the community.

Throughout their time at St Peter’s Collegiate Academy, students flourish, benefitting from a rich academic curriculum and strong pastoral care, enriched with cultural experiences and opportunities that reflect our diverse and inclusive community. We actively encourage our students to seek new experiences, develop their skills, and learn new things to fulfil their God-given potential.

Building on the traditions and history of the academy, we are committed to preparing students for the challenges of the future. Alongside our curriculum, we are proud to offer a wide range of opportunities for students to pursue their interests and passions. We aim to embrace vulnerability through endeavour, trusting that our labour is not in vain. We are extremely proud of the remarkable work of our students and staff, who strive to live out our Christian values in all they do.

We look forward to welcoming you into our St Peter’s family.

Historic Moment for the Church of England! As part of the Church of England family, we celebrate the wonderful news that Dame Sarah Mullally has been announced as the first female Archbishop of Canterbury in almost 500 years of history. At 63, Dame Sarah brings a wealth of experience – not only as Bishop of London for the past seven years, but also from her earlier career as a midwife, and as a woman who has spoken openly about her commitment to feminism, inclusion, and equality. This appointment is a progressive step forward for the Church of England, one that reflects a flourishing and inclusive future, where leadership, service, and faith are open to all. As a Church of England academy, we are proud to mark this moment and the inspiration it offers our students, staff, and wider community. #WeAreSPCA #FlourishingCommunity #Inclusion #RespectServiceAspiration

Paris Art Trip – Day One & Two Our students arrived safely in Paris yesterday and wasted no time beginning their cultural adventure! Day one included a visit to the stunning Galeries Lafayette, an evening meal at Flams, and a stroll along the river to soak up the Parisian atmosphere. This morning, after a hearty breakfast, the group set off to the Arc de Triomphe before heading to the Sacré-Cœur. A wonderful opportunity to experience world-famous art, architecture, and culture, and to see our values of Respect, Service, and Aspiration shining through every step of the way. #WeAreSPCA #FlourishingStudents #CulturalExperiences

Yesterday our Battlefields students visited the British Memorial in Normandy, where they laid a wreath for the fallen and joined together in a moving act of remembrance and reflection led by Mr Reade. The group then spent some time in Arromanche – enjoying the beach, exploring the town and even a little shopping – before checking out of the hotel this morning to begin their final day. So far today they have visited Pegasus Bridge and the Moreville Battery & Museum, where students gained a powerful insight into life inside wartime bunkers for both German and Allied forces. Now, after a packed few days of history, learning and reflection, students are settling onto the coach ready for the journey back to the ferry port. Their behaviour throughout has been impeccable, and they have shown respect, maturity and a genuine curiosity every step of the way. Safe journey home SPCA and St Regis! #WeAreSPCA #RespectServiceAspiration #FlourishingStudents

Our Battlefields Trip has been a deeply moving and memorable journey so far. Students have taken time to reflect at Tyne Cot, paid their respects at the German Cemetery in Langemark, explored Ypres (with a little shopping and a walk through the Menin Gate), and visited The Somme and Newfoundland Park – land gifted to Canada by France in honour of their fallen. Yesterday, Miss Lord brought the day to a close at Thiepval with a thoughtful period of reflection. Today, our group continues their learning in Normandy, beginning at Omaha Beach to understand the significance of the D-Day landings. A powerful reminder of the importance of remembrance, respect, and learning from history. #WeAreSPCA #FlourishingStudents #RespectServiceAspiration #BattlefieldsTrip
