Welcome from our Principal

We are thrilled to welcome you to St Peter’s Collegiate Academy, a Church of England Academy serving the City of Wolverhampton and proud members of Three Spires Trust.

At St Peter’s Collegiate Academy, we are committed to celebrating all individuals and enabling them to live life in all its fullness. All members of the school community are valued and enabled to develop respect, a spirit of service, aspiration, and skills that will lead them toward fulfilling lives with hope and purpose.

Rooted in our Christian values, of service, respect, and aspiration our vision is inclusive and welcomes everyone, from all backgrounds, who seek an education grounded in Christian values and beliefs, which we strive to integrate into everything we do.

Our vision reflects our desire to care for and nurture all members of our school community as they are encouraged to learn and develop knowledge, understanding and to grow in wisdom. This enables them to flourish as lifelong learners who know that they are loved by God and are equipped to serve the community.

Throughout their time at St Peter’s Collegiate Academy, students flourish, benefitting from a rich academic curriculum and strong pastoral care, enriched with cultural experiences and opportunities that reflect our diverse and inclusive community. We actively encourage our students to seek new experiences, develop their skills, and learn new things to fulfil their God-given potential.

Building on the traditions and history of the academy, we are committed to preparing students for the challenges of the future. Alongside our curriculum, we are proud to offer a wide range of opportunities for students to pursue their interests and passions. We aim to embrace vulnerability through endeavour, trusting that our labour is not in vain. We are extremely proud of the remarkable work of our students and staff, who strive to live out our Christian values in all they do.

We look forward to welcoming you into our St Peter’s family.

Teen Hour Hits the Airwaves! A huge well done to Esther I, Amraj S, Ikman S, Joe T and Jake W – five of our students who've launched their very own radio show, Teen Hour, on WCR FM. As part of an exciting work experience placement last week, the group stepped into the world of broadcasting, learning everything from presenting and scripting to editing and sound engineering. With expert support from the team at WCR – including BBC veteran Tim Beech – they crafted a show that truly captures the voices and interests of young people. Expect music, interviews, youth topics and more – all created and led by the students themselves. Catch Teen Hour every Monday at 6pm on WCR FM – proudly representing the next generation of Wolverhampton's voices. #WeAreSPCA #FlourishingStudents #RespectServiceAspiration #TeenHour #WCRFM

  • Respect

Look not only to your own interests but also to the interest of others.” (Philippians 2:3 - 4) We seek to develop responsibility and Truthfulness through our students’ experience at the academy.

  • Service

“But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.” (1 Peter 3:15) We seek to develop Compassion and Empathy through our students’ experience at the academy.

  • Aspiration

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and love others as yourself.” (Mark 12:30) We seek to develop resilience and perseverance through our students’ experience at the academy.

  • Above everything, love one another earnestly

1 Peter 4:8 - We seek to nurture our students in their quest for knowledge and wisdom, enabling them to flourish as lifelong learners who seek to love God and serve the community by living life in all its fullness.
