Virtual Learning Christmas 2025

During the partial school closure linked to our move into the new building, we want you to stay engaged with your learning from home. Your teachers have created a range of optional tasks and activities to help you stay connected with your subjects and maintain your progress over the Christmas period.

Key Stage 3

You’ll find project-based and cross-curricular activities designed to encourage creativity, curiosity, and independent learning. You can choose the tasks that interest you most and explore ideas in your own way.

Key Stage 4

Your resources focus mainly on revision. Departments have provided guidance, links, and tasks to support your preparation for upcoming exams. You can also access additional revision materials on our website: https://www.stpetersacademy.org.uk/curriculum/revision-advice

Key Stage 5

Your teachers have set specific subject tasks to help you consolidate learning and prepare for future assessments. Use this time for focused study and to strengthen your understanding of key course content.

Careers

All students should ensure that their careers work is up-to-date. This includes completing the Future Skills Questionnaire, sent directly to your email by the Careers and Enterprise Company, and the Unifrog 101 course available through your Unifrog account.

Wellbeing

A wellbeing guide is included within these resources, offering advice and links to mental health support should you ever need to talk to someone. Please take a moment to read it and seek help if you are finding things difficult.

Although this work is optional, we strongly encourage you to get involved. When we return in January, you can share what you have completed with your form tutor or class teachers, who will award Class Charts points in recognition of your effort.

This is an exciting moment in our school’s journey as we prepare to step into our new building. Further updates will be shared throughout the coming weeks.

Thank you for your continued enthusiasm, dedication, and resilience as we move through this period of change.
